Bill’s mother Mary, brother Steve and sister Lynn will be attending the premiere of American:The Bill Hicks Story at the London Film Festival on October 23, 2009.

I echo that! My six year old daughter will be getting it then too! I really hope many many people get to see this.. well done all associated with this film, I loved it, very apt for the apathetic age we live in. Many future Bill Hicks fans will be born from this!

Wow I haven’t had a film experience like this for ages. I feel like a 16 year old who has discovered their first role model/hero!
Last night I watched Matt & Paul’s film at the LFF and was introduced to the inimitable Bill Hicks in the most wonderfully creative, insightful, loving and thrilling way.
I laughed, I cried, I joined the facebook site.
My four year old son will be receiving this DVD for his 13th birthday!

I really hope the legacy of Bill’s work and deeper message will return again and again to our society . .till at least people start to wake up again, he often refered to the use of certain chemicals that may help us to evolve and explore the possibilities of a better world . .in the end what is left ?? the best drug of all, Love Laughter and Truth and of course a life-long supply of extra strength Bill pills . .he may be gone in person, but its a comforting thought to know that even when we are all dust and bones . .Bill will still be shouting, ranting, teaching, exploring and talking to that scruffy confused kid somewhere in the future. .enlightening and helping people to think for themselves . .move over Jesus . .theres a new kid in town !!
